About North Shore Hand Therapy
North Shore Hand Therapy is a specialist clinic based on Auckland’s North Shore, dedicated to helping patients recover from hand, wrist, and elbow injuries and conditions. The clinic places patients at the centre of their recovery, offering expert, personalised care in a supportive and stress-free environment. Whether you are managing a new injury, recovering from surgery, or dealing with an ongoing condition, the team at North Shore Hand Therapy will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel listened to, informed, and confident in your recovery plan.
Hand therapy is a specialised field combining physiotherapy and occupational therapy, focused on the hand, wrist, and forearm. Registered Hand Therapists hold advanced post-graduate qualifications and clinical training, enabling them to assess, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate a wide range of upper limb conditions. Every appointment includes a thorough assessment, a clear explanation of your diagnosis, and a tailored treatment plan with practical goals to get you back to doing the things you love.

North Shore Hand Therapy provides expert treatment for a comprehensive range of hand and upper limb conditions, including: fractures and dislocations, sprains and strains, tendon repairs and injuries, nerve conditions and repairs, carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, trigger finger and trigger thumb, tennis elbow, Dupuytren’s disease, mallet finger, ganglion cysts, arthritis management, wounds and burns, nailbed injuries, amputations, sporting injuries, work-related injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.
